I always wanted a good size collection of silks for Daniel, but at $20 ea, I just couldn't manage it! That's why I put the kits together making them yourself is so much cheaper and I think a kit makes it more doable for the less crafty. They're my favorite too. Well...and the teething ring, but my little one is past that stage!

Danielle, I don't tye-dye the silks, but I scrunch them up to give them a mottled look. That's just how I like them. If you use a different technique you can get a solid color. Instructions for both ways are in the kit.
